GCRC Visiting Scientist
The General Clinical Research Center introduces:
Anthony R. Hayward, MD, PhD
Director of the Division of Clinical Research at the National Center for
Research Resources (NCRR), National Institutes of Health (NIH)

Dr. Hayward will speak on Thursday and Friday, February 26-27, 2004, under the auspices of the University's General Clinical Research Center Visiting Scientist Program. He will present Medical Grand Rounds on "Developing a Career in Clinical Research: an NCRR Priority" on Thursday, February 26 at 11:00AM in Room C1-11. He will also present Pediatric Grand Rounds on "Clearing Cryptosporidial Infections - an Age-Old Problem" on Friday, February 27 at 8:00AM in Room C1-9.
NCRR's Division of Clinical Research funds all GCRCs and many of NIH's "K" series of mentored grant awards. Dr. Hayward's topic for Medical Grand Rounds will be important to any health professional interested in a career in clinical investigation or in mentoring such individuals. Both of Dr. Hayward's presentations are open to faculty, staff and students.
