Guidelines for Protocol Submission

Wondering when your GCRC protocol must be submitted in order to be reviewed at the next GCRC Advisory Committee meeting? The table below provides a summary of the timeline for this process.

Timeline Requirements for the Submission of a GCRC Protocol (Summary Table)
Initial Draft Meeting Revised Draft E-mail correspondence Final Draft
Due 1st of month prior to review. May be sent electronically or as paper copy. Schedule between the 1st and 8th of the month.

Ideally both PI and coordinator attend.
Due 10th of month to Ann Coutu. May be sent electronically or as paper copy. As needed between GCRC managers and researcher/staff. Due 15th of month prior to review. Send to Ann Coutu. Electronic and 5 paper copies required.

E-protocol Form:
To submit your protocol electronically, download the three MS Word forms below. ONLY THE THREE FORMS BELOW ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION. After completing them, email them to our Adminstrative Director, Ann Coutu

  • IRB Introductory Questionnaire -> Please use the most current version found at the UF IRB-01 Forms Web site.
  • E-protocol form 1 (.doc, 195kb)
  • E-protocol form 2 (.doc, 51kb)
    Note: E-protocol submission must be approved by Ann Coutu, our Administrative Director. Please contact her if you wish to submit your protocol electronically.
