Saving a Live Oak
August - September 2007

In early August, a live oak near our house came down across our driveway. It did not, however, uproot, so Nev and I decided to try to save the tree and I came up with the idea of jacking it up to create an arbor of sorts. The pics tell most of the story. This took about 40 hours of labor over the course of 5 or 6 weekends. I apologize in advance for the poor photography. - Doug
